Made by hand, meant for every day
Echora Design
Echora is one person, one wheel, one studio in Durango, Colorado. Every piece starts as a lump of clay and ends on your table to be enjoyed every morning (or drink your evening wine out of it, no judgment).
Built on a love of the handmade
Lauren Echo has been an artist for as long as she can remember. Her first ceramics class was in high school, and she kept up the practice through college classes and community studios, finding time at the wheel whenever she could.
In 2020, she lost access to her pottery studio and leaned hard into her digital work as Lauren Echo Art, helping brands build out their visual identity with custom artwork, which she genuinely loves.
But somewhere along the way, she started missing the feeling of making something from dirt. Screens are great, but there's no substitute for getting your hands in clay.
In 2025, she cleared out her garage and built a pottery studio.
Echora is the result. Every piece is hand-thrown in that garage studio, glazed and fired slow, and made to live in your home rather than sit on a shelf. The goal has always been simple: to bring one-of-a-kind, human-made objects into your everyday life.
