Olive Wood Sugar & Honey Spoons
Liven up your tea or coffee ritual with our handmade honey and sugar spoons. Handcarved in Nairobi, Kenya, out of solid olive wood and finished with bone handles. Mix and match or keep it simple.
From left to right in the second photo: Plain White, Carved Criss Cross White, Double Black Bands, Carved Double Bands, Tik-Tac-Toe, Carved Swirl, Carved X
Details:
- Because they are handmade, variances are to be expected and relished as unique finds
- This set measures approximately 8 inches in length and the spoon is 1.5 inches wide
- Handwash only and air dry
- Maintain the vibrancy of the wood by seasoning with food grade oil
- Olive wood utensils need oiling from time to time; grape seed oil is one of the best because it has no taste and smell but any cooking oil can be used
- Use a lint-free cloth or soft kitchen towel, gently rub the oil over the whole surface and leave to dry
- Made in partnership with Mikono, a Nairobi-based refugee crafts shop that supports artisans across Africa in resettlement, repatriation, and integration so that they can become self-reliant
