The details
Plants, papers, toys, you name it. No matter what you put in your basket, you'll feel good knowing these beautiful and durable handcrafted African baskets create jobs for rural Kenyan women.
The women who weave these baskets are not only supported by being paid a fair wage for their weaving, but they are also supported by Zawadisha's microlending program.
Like a fingerprint, there are no two baskets alike. So if you see something you like, grab it before it's gone.
Details:
- This XS basket measures approximately 13 x 13 cm
- Made from locally grown sisal
- Inside you'll find the name of the woman who made it
